Register Domains at Google

Google is going to offer a domain registration service for $10 per year. They will register it at GoDaddy.com or eNom while the domain name will be configured for all the Google services automatically through the registration.

This seems like somewhat of an odd thing for them to be doing, but in the long run they must be looking to offer a complete range of services to potential customers in their Google Apps for Your Domain space. They already have the name recognition, and in time they will probably offer about every service that a customer would want. Try to set themselves up a a one stop shop for internet needs.

If they need any help with commercials, GoDaddy.com seems to have a good sense of what grabs people’s attention.
